Style is very important to us at Blossom, and based on the feedback we receive from you, our customers, we know it's one of the key reason's you trust Blossom for your maternity wardrobe. Here are some tips & suggestions to get the most out of your maternity wardrobe during this exciting time.
Wardrobe Flexibility – At Blossom, we’ve hand-picked lots of styles to not only work very early in your pregnancy, but pieces designed to fit throughout your pregnancy and well after. Many of our items work great during early pregnancy and grow with you in a fitted, flattering wardrobe throughout your pregnancy. We also have items that convert to wear as 2 or 3 different looks for added versatility. You can count on quality fabrics with comfortable stretch that wash beautifully for your pregnancy and well after.
Go for quality, not quantity. Let’s face it, it is expensive to buy a new wardrobe for nine months. You want clothes that look great and will last through frequent wearing and washing. Look for key pieces in quality, comfortable fabrics but that reflect your true sense of style. Quality fabrics are important because you will be getting lots of use out of your wardrobe, and you will want your clothes to launder or dry clean well and still look and feel fabulous.
Choose styles that work well with your body. As your baby continues to grow, your shape will change. You want to emphasize some body parts while taking the focus away from others. Certain patterns work great for diversion, while others draw attention to an area. For example, if you want to take attention away from your hips and thighs with long pants or a skirt, try a cute top that exposes more skin to draw the focus to the upper half of your body. We offer well know brands of dozens of Maternity Tees!
Find a comfortable bra. You will need to purchase several new bras during pregnancy to allow for your expanding rib cage and breasts. Consider buying nursing bras during pregnancy and for use afterwards. Just a few words of caution: your rib cage expands most during the last two months of pregnancy and will start decreasing in size right after the baby is born. Make sure the bras you wear during pregnancy are snug enough to provide support after the baby arrives. Many women find a style they like and then buy a couple in the size they need for mid-pregnancy and for nursing, plus one or two more in the next size up to wear at the end of pregnancy and for the hospital. We carry all the tops lines: Bella Materna, Bravado, and Japanese Weekend.

So excited to be a cute mom to be:)
Crystal I'm right there with you! I'm not pregnant yet, but when I was talking to my mom she was telling me how they generally just gave in to the "frumpy" look when they were pregnant. Thank goodness for the change in fashion that brings us much cuter and unique maternity clothes. I have no doubt you were a very cute mom to be :)
